activitiesWe believe that recreational time spent together provides a valuable means of growing together as a church family whatever our age. To this end we organise regular church breaks, which in recent years have been in the Lake District, to combine a refreshing holiday with time to reflect and worship together.

Recent Trips

A midweek break for the more mature in years – March 27th to 30th 2017
Our second visit to the Keswick Convention Centre for 4 days in March was again much appreciated by all those who were able to come.  Members of the chapel plus a variety of others from the  village enjoyed the beauty of the Lake District and the fellowship of friends. Armed with our bus passes we enjoyed the Lake District together, satifying our many diffierent interests and tastes . Groups were able to visit the Theatre by the Lake, Rheghed , Grasmere, Cockermouth, whilst others enjoyed walking. There was good fellowship each evening which concluded with an epilogue led by ourselves. A similar few days are provisonally planned for March 2018.

May bank holiday family weekend – April 28th to May 1st 2017
Once again this year we had 3 days over the May bank-holiday weekend away staying at the Keswick Convention Centre. We spent time together and with God enjoying the wonderful company of both as well as the fabulous Lake District countryside. There was cooking, eating, walking and worshiping in equal measure as our church family shared a special few days together.
