It is part of our calling to “watch over one another in love.” We do this in a variety of ways – through the informal caring that comes of seeking to be one body as a Church family, in the mutual support of being a member of a house or fellowship group, and through the work of recognised pastoral visitors.

“A Methodist Society is no other than a company of persons having the form and seeking the power of godliness, united in order to pray together, to receive the word of exhortation, and to watch over one another in love that they might help each other work out their salvation”

John Wesley
